Diablerie test press

it might seem odd, but 101 test presses were made for the Diablerie record. normal number of test presses for a record is 4-8. so why so many? my European contact, Stefan, had this to say...

"i talked and got this one from the guy who runs lifefore at this time (and until 2000). he says that they do so many testpresses for a show or festival to sell the first copies before the release date-the official lp's wouldnt be ready for this."

ive talked to the guy from Lifeforce myself, and i got the same story. further pressing info will come about the Diablerie, but for now enjoy some pics of the test press.

ps, Cheesegrater also owns a testpress. just sayin.
